NOVEMBER LOVE

Hard like the rocks under my feet 

I learnt so many things that made me weak

I held my breath under water for your love
you walked away watched me sink in the dark

I sat alone for days on end and then I realised
this fantasy was all pretend

So I decided to start a new chapter it went like this

I give thanks to the love that could have been
it gave me strength taught me inner peace

I send you love from the bottom of my heart
I now know we were both destined to walk different paths

My once upon a time is seeking me so I let go of the past
and set myself free

For when love comes knocking on my door I'll be ready and waiting to answer loves call
